Common support questions

Before you contact us

These five questions account for most of our support volume, so they might save you a wait.

The most common cause is skipping the kit: always import the kit JSON first; it carries the global colors, typography, and breakpoints the page was compiled against. Next, check the review panel and the handoff report: anything that could not be reproduced natively (and any HTML fallback) is listed there explicitly. Castly typically reaches 90%+ pixel fidelity, and the Fidelity Report shows per-device scores so you know exactly where the differences are. If a difference isn't accounted for by the report, send us the report export and we will investigate directly.
Two ways. The fastest is the Castly WordPress plugin: it talks to the engine and imports pages, templates, and the kit in one click. Manually: import the kit first, then in Elementor open the page editor, click the hamburger menu (top-left), choose Templates → Import Template, and upload the .json file, or use "Paste from clipboard" if you copied the compile output. Both paths produce the same editable structure.
Running out of monthly credits only stops new compiles; every JSON template you already exported keeps working forever; it lives in your WordPress site, not on our servers. The Free plan includes 3 credits per month (1 credit = 1 page) and the counter resets at the start of your next period. You can buy 25 more for $29, or upgrade to Starter (20 credits/mo) or Pro (100 credits/mo), effective immediately.
URL conversion requires the page to be publicly accessible: no login, no geo-restriction, no firewall block. If the page loads in your browser but fails in Castly, it may be behind bot protection. In that case, use the paste mode: open the page, view source (Ctrl/Cmd+U), copy the HTML, then paste it into the input field. The result is identical.
No. By default Castly compiles to Elementor Free widgets, so the output works on any Elementor install. If you have Elementor Pro and are on the Castly Pro tier, the compiler can additionally target Pro widgets: forms become the Form widget, navigation becomes Nav Menu, and dynamic/WooCommerce regions map to Loop Grids and product widgets.
